Welcome
Fragments is an indie press from the margins of Southampton. we aim to give value to all the little things that make up a life by championing writing, photography, music and poetry by new artists. Within the relentless pace of consumerist society, we want to cultivate a grounded community around creative practices, local history and everyday philosophies.

Mark Ranger is the editor of Fragments Press. He is an advocate of all things liminal: edgelands, sites of exclosure, ways of being. His philosophy is informed by the work of Felix Guattari and Jacques Lacan. His first book, Shared Territory, connects people and place along the river in his hometown near Southampton. Clive Henry is an academic and musician, exploring controversial figures and ideas in society. He has contributed to the four seasonal Fragments zines, and is the co-founder of this indie press along with Mark.

2026 is a big year for Fragments. Please follow us on Instagram or Facebook. We’ll be posting updates about upcoming publications and events.
